Wedding Invitations

My sister in law is getting married, and I helped her come up with an awesome invitation - in my opinion of course! I love being able to do something myself, without having it look homemade. Not easy, really, but I think we did a good job of it.
Birds is one of the underlying "themes" of the day, and there is a wax seal on the envelope, with a little birdie on it!

Precisely cut and folded, embossed through the Big Shot...this was a multi step process, not for the faint of heart, when x150

The embossing does not show up well in the pictures, but is very beautiful and adds subtle detail. The perfect touch. This is Very Vanilla cardstock and Not Quite Navy ribbon

Open it up, and here's the inside!

Reception invitation

The RSVP postcard. A really cool design made by my mom, the front side has their address on it, and more of the same design and bird.

Christmas Cards

The time has come to start thinking about what I'm going to do for Christmas cards this year. I loved what I came up with for 2009, so I hope I can have some great inspiration and love this years too. Last year I made a see-thru card out of an acetate sheet. I really loved how it worked out!

The front, I'm showing it with black behind so the detail shows up. I stamped on the acetate with white Staz On ink. The papers used were Basic Black, Certainly Celery, and Ruby Red.

The inside

The back. All this paper cut to exactly the same size and layered on the acetate, so that the adhesive would never show through on the other side. And from the front, you could only see that one square in the middle.

Versatile Gift Card Holder

These gift card holders (3 of the same per pack), can be used for gift cards, money, cheques, or any small somethings (not too thick) being given as gifts. I didn't take a picture of one open...but the "smooth side" slides off, so gifts card etc can be placed inside the pocket, and then you slide the "side" back on. They are very cute!

Heartfelt Thanks
