More Gift Cards

A card and gift card holder, all in one. This one is embossed/texturized with the Big Shot!

Didn't have a gift card, so I threw in a credit card, so you can see how it works:-)

I made a bunch of these, I had the Big Shot on loan from a friend, so I made some to decorate later with the pretty backgrounds, and some have stamped background, like the Not Quite Navy one, in the middle.

Note Pads

Note pads! I still need to get to the office supply store and pick up a thin adhesive magnetic strip, which will hold it closed.

Versatile Gift Card Holder

These gift card holders (3 of the same per pack), can be used for gift cards, money, cheques, or any small somethings (not too thick) being given as gifts. I didn't take a picture of one open...but the "smooth side" slides off, so gifts card etc can be placed inside the pocket, and then you slide the "side" back on. They are very cute!

Heartfelt Thanks

Card trio

I am starting to make some cards for a craft sale/fund raiser for a friend that is trying to adopt a baby boy from Ethiopia. So I am trying to come up with cute idea, that are easy to make lots of quickly, so we'll have plenty to sell on December 12th.

Jack in the Box

A new little 3x3 trio. So cute.

Citrus Fun

Isn't this CUTE? I really love it...inspired by a card in the current catalog, but I changed it up a little.

Spot-on Thanks

Cute and simple!!

Stocking Card Holder

An adorable gift card holder that can be hung from the tree.

The top pivots open, and it's made so the gift card can't slide down to the bottom and get lost.

Gift Box

A cute little gift box, with a built in card!

Card on top

Front of box, ribbon to pull it open.

Open box, to put some candy inside or something:-) Interior size approx 4x4.

Bookmarks gift

This is a holder for 4 bookmarks.

The inside, bookmarks galore. Perfect for avid readers!

The bookmarks fold over the top page of the book, and hold in place by magnets on the bottom of each side. Adorable!

Poinsetta Punch Card

Stampin' Up's Glitter Paint in Champagne Mist makes all the difference on this adorable little card! It looks so great in real life (the picture doesn't do it justice).

Step Card

This is an adorable little card, suitable for holding a picture (adhere to the pale plum pc of cardstock). This one is just a quick prototype I made up, to see how it would work, so it's not embellished the way I would or stamped or anything. I really love it, it has so much variety potential! Finished size is the standard card size, so it will fit an envelope nicely.

I used Rich Razzelberry, Pale Plum, Certainly Celery and Cottage Rose Designer Paper for this one.

Spring Tree

I love this new set!!

HOW TO:
Paper: Rich Razzelberry, Pale Plum, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pale Plum, Marvelous Magenta, Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal, Close to Cocoa
Stamp Set: Season of Friendship
Embellishments: Stampin Dimensionals, rhinestone brads, microbeads & sticky strip
Tools: Flower trio punch, large oval punch, paper cutter, scissors, scallop edge punch

A Child Is Born

This is a gorgeous Christmas card! It was actually time consuming to make, so it really isn't one that could be mass produced and handed out...there was a lot of colouring involved! The inside greeting says, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given..." I made a little mistake on the very bottom right side. Oops! It took me too long to redo though, so it will have to do!!

HOW TO:
Paper: Creamy Caramel, Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Black, and about every other colour I own...I did lots of blending of different inks to get the colours I wanted.
Stamp Set: A Child Is Born
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon
Tools: Paper Cutter, blender pens

Country Morning

Stampin Up carries a new product in the Holiday Mini Catalog, shimmer paint. It's great stuff! I am just beginning to figure out all the neat things you can do with it. On this card, I took a travel sized spray bottle, filled with rubbing alcohol, and put in just a few drops of shimmer paint. Shake, and spray one coat over your paper. It turns any regular paper into a wonderfully shimmery paper. I love it!! The shimmer really doesn't show well in the picture, but in real life, it's really really pretty, yet subtle. And so easy to do!

HOW TO:
Paper: Rich Razzelberry, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Stampin Pastels, Purely Pomegranate
Stamp Set: Country Morning
Embellishments: Champagne Mist sparkle mixture, adhesive diamond (yellow)
Tools: Blender pen, paper piercing tool & mat, paper cutter

Band-aid card

A cute get well soon card! This is a 3x3 little card, with a fun band aid and cute little puffy, sparkly heart. I punched the heart, and covered it in crystal effects, then coated it in glitter, and then another layer of crystal effects, making it raised and puffy. So adorable, I will be making this one again!!

HOW TO:
Paper: Mellow Moss, Ruby Red, Blush Blossom
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa
Stamp Set: Holiday Blitz
Embellishments: Stampin' Dimensionals, Crystal effects, red glitter
Tools: Paper cutter, paper piercing tool & mat, Heart to Heart punch, paper crimper, corner rounder

October's Class

I am trying to determine what you might be interested in doing in October:

Date: Friday, Oct 23rd, 7:30pm

Please comment here with your craft preference!

OPTION 1: A template, how-to class, includes your choice of stamp set to take home. Approx cost $25.

OPTION 2: A make up class where you can make stationary boxes, or catch up on any of the other things we have done in the past that you missed out on and really wanted to learn. Browse my site for things you might have missed.

OPTION 3: A coaster calendar making class. See my website for pictures of the one I made, or ask me to see it in person, it is way too cute for words. This would cost about $20, as I have to purchase a lot of coasters online (not SU product), and each person needs 13 for their calendar, so that is a lot of coasters!! It's a great gift.

OPTION 4: Tell me your idea.

CD Scrapbook

I made a little CD scrapbook all about Brooks & Daddy. In keeping with the CD theme, each page has words to the chorus from Little Guy (by Gord Bamford). It turned out SO cute! He're a link to the precious song, since I'm sure not many have heard it (it's country, and he's Canadian). So sweet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_wso8Zo7-A

Coaster Calendar Pictures

I finished my little coaster calendar, and I love it. Next time I will switch up some of the themes on each month, I was just going by my inspiration, and then realized June's design was better for July, etc. But it's really cute and I am so happy with the results overall.
